Going down a path investigating value as the drive for the Utopia. Imagining moneyless worlds in which perhaps social status becomes payment or possession/bartering shapes architecture.
On the other hand looking into value, places of commerce, social interaction and their relation to architecture.
Rabbit holes of research:
- the Zeitgeist movement (on how money, debt and interest are feeding into globalization making corporations the new ‘countries’ of the world and keeping the general public as slaves to the system)(yes it’s very intense)
- Working on documenting places of commerce (case studies: the market street and an old bank)
- Possible event: bartering experiment?
