“Collecting the dust (particles of carbon monoxide) of the city (“Breeding the dust” of Duchamp…) by an aluminium envelop and electrostatics system.”
I could maybe make a dust magnet for TS – little machine yay!! – and then add moisture to see what happens to the bacterial and fungal spores inside.
“Dust is a rich, heterogeneous mixture of materials, providing plentiful substrate for microbial growth. When exposed to moisture, the resulting germination of fungal and bacterial spores or dormant cells leads to an increase of metabolic products, which can include chlorinated hydrocarbons, amines, terpenes, alcohols, aldehydes and ketones, as well as sulfuric and aromatic compounds” https://doi.org/10.1038/s41579-018-0065-5
