To update the catalogue of references, I’ve looked into two so far:
Neufert, Architect’s data | as a references for writing the Institute of Trust’s manual. I Think I might do drawings inspired by these on the topic of interaction, a topic that was suggested but not yet explored in the project.
The other reference was the propaganda interiors of North Korea as a cultural counterpart to my focus on wester institutional spaces. These weirdly coloured, perfectly staged spaces with omni present portraits of the political leaders are good examples of institutional taken to the extreme and spaces that are designed specifically for representation. Representation directly being related to reputation ultimately tyeing it to trust. Lots of use of stone, marble, carpet and even stanchions and greek style columns. These images are carefully composed messages of propaganda and lots can be learned from their rigour in adhering to a thoroughly thought through (tongue twister) architectural style.
